Debtor Reorganization
A few years ago, we had a client who had a debtor who owed a significant amount of money and was on the verge of bankruptcy. After attempting collection through traditional methods, we contacted the debtor, with the permission of our client. After talking to the debtor for awhile, we were able to assist in a reorganization plan and create a reasonable debt payoff schedule. By going the extra mile, the debtor avoided bankruptcy and our client got paid.
Persistence Pays
Sometimes bankruptcy is inevitable, which was the case when TWA declared bankruptcy several years ago. After the bankruptcy was declared, there were numerous companies trying to resolve the preferential payment portofolio.
